MBAM hung during scanning

Hello, I just downloaded this version on a Windows 7, Ultimate edition desktop.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0.2.1012
Build Date: 5/12/2014

 

I noted that MBAM hung after scanning only about 200,000 files. I ticked the anti-rootkit option before starting the scan. What steps do you suggest for problem resolution? (I have already downloaded FRST and mbam-check-2.1.0.0002.exe )

Although the type of scan was not specified, you may also try unticking "Scan for rootkits" and "Scan within archives" and then repeating the scan. If the issue repeats, please consider performing the steps below:
