Problem persists randomly, i.e. does not start all the time and does so on all Windows OS's

G'day Folks,

Greetings again from "Crocodile Dundee Country" (Australia)

I have this persistant problem with version 2.0.1.1012 Premium, where I have unselected the "Start with Windows" "Malware Protection" and "Malicious Website Protection" yet the Malware starts with Windows inspite of having told it not to, i.e. having unselected the "Start with Windows"

This occurs with Win XP sp3, Vista, Win 7 Ultimate, Win8.1 pro and ent.

- The issues / problem is very enoying.

The previous fix by "daledoc1" worked for a while, however the priblem has come back !

Anyone have the fix for this so it does not start with windows - please ?

Regards

Hi:

We haven't seen many such reports recently, as the issue ought to have been resolved some time ago with a new version of the program and the updated version of the removal tool.

You mention that it is happening on multiple platforms -- XP, Vista, 7 and 8????
Are these real or virtual machines?

Have you been using any sort of registry "cleaner" or "optimizer" or "tweaker"?

If you have not already done so, the first step would be a formal, clean reinstall to the most current version, following this tutorial: MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x.

If that doesn't resolve the issue and the advice HERE doesn't resolve it, then the only way to effectively troubleshoot this will be to collect some basic system information.

To that end, please read the following and post back the requested logs - Diagnostic Logs

The staff and dev team will review the logs and make additional recommendations.

To reduce confusion, I suggest proceeding with 1 machine at a time.

Thanks,
