Activation code not accepted

I have Malwarebytes on my desktop and want to install it on my laptop. "Set up" will not recognize activation codes. Does my 1 user license only install Malwaebytes on one machine or is there another issue at play?

Hi:

 

The answer depends on whether this is a 1-PC, consumer, lifetime license for version 1.x that was migrated to a similar version 2.x license (or an equivalent license purchased under a recent promotion for a 1-PC, consumer lifetime license for 2.x), OR whether this a new, consumer, 3-PC "subscription" license purchased new for version 2.x within the past few months.

 

The older, lifetime licenses can only be activated on 1 PC at a time.

The new, version 2.x, subscription licenses can be activated on up to 3 PCs at a time.

 

In either case, the most common cause of activation problems is entering the wrong alphanumeric characters for the ID/key: It says 'Invalid license information' when I try to activate the software.

 

If that doesn't explain/resolve your issue, please tell us:

• Did you purchase online at the MBAM store via the ecommerce partner, cleverbridge or from another source?
• Or did you purchase MBAM PRO/PREMIUM on a CD in a box?
• When did you originally purchase MBAM PRO/PREMIUM?
