MysteryFCM Posted June 11, 2014 ID:840472 Share Posted June 11, 2014 None of the IPs in your screenshot belong to the Skype website or any of it's servers, and none are F/P's. Skype uses P2P tech, which means there's always going to be malicious IPs amongst them, just as is the case with all other software using P2P. Staff Spud Posted June 12, 2014 Staff ID:840793 Share Posted June 12, 2014 That's not a F/P either. As MysteryFCM said in a reply above: "Skype uses P2P tech, which means there's always going to be malicious IPs amongst them, just as is the case with all other software using P2P." I see these alerts when I am on skype too. It does not affect my use of it.
timopomer Posted June 12, 2014 Author ID:840798 Share Posted June 12, 2014 thank you,im not adding any exceptions to these list since im afraid that a harmless exe would read that location and start downlaoding malware to there (im not a paranoid im just being logical)
Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted June 12, 2014 Root Admin ID:840847 Share Posted June 12, 2014 You would be better off trying to exclude Skype instead of the IP addresses as Skype will be okay but if your web browser or email try to use those sites they could potentially allow something in as we would not block it.
