ERROR code 2 and 1812

Recommended Posts

Hi, I also have the same problem with error code 2 or 1812 and after searching for weeks with no solution.

But I notice something

I type this few commands during windows 7 setup, to save space on my SSD as it only 64GB

robocopy "C:\Users" "D:\Users" /E /COPYALL /XJrobocopy "C:\Program Files" "D:\Program Files" /E /COPYALL /XJrobocopy "C:\Program Files (x86)" "D:\Program Files (x86)" /E /COPYALL /XJrobocopy "C:\ProgramData" "D:\ProgramData" /E /COPYALL /XJrmdir "C:\Users" /S /Qrmdir "C:\Program Files" /S /Qrmdir "C:\Program Files (x86)" /S /Qrmdir "C:\ProgramData" /S /Qmklink /J "C:\Users" "D:\Users"mklink /J "C:\Program Files" "D:\Program Files"mklink /J "C:\Program Files (x86)" "D:\Program Files (x86)"mklink /J "C:\ProgramData" "D:\ProgramData"

This method allows me to use my SSD as a windows 7 boot only. And move program files, user profiles and ProgramData to "D:\"

I believe the issue is cause by "ProgramData" folder as malwarebytes thinks the "ProgramData" is at "C:\ProgramData" instead of "D:\ProgramData"

I've tried using  mbam-clean.exe, then install malwarebytes on both C:\ and D:\ but nothing works

Is there anyway for tell the program(malwarebytes) to search for the Database at "D:\ProgramData" instead of "C:\ProgramData"?
