Program Not Responding Issue

Recommended Posts

Hi,JonACDCAS, and :welcome:

I know that you've tried uninstalling, but have you tried the clean removal process? See MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x.

If that does not work, then please rerun those tools you ran for those logs and repost the logs (new ones, after using the clean removal process) and we'll get going from there.

NOTE: There is an FAQ section with valuable information located here: - Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions

Thank You

Hello JohnACD and welcome aboard the forum.

I would ask you, if there was some change recently made by you about any aspect of your login-account or Windows login?

I see these lines from the Windows system event log

Error: (06/10/2014 09:42:06 AM) (Source: Microsoft-Windows-User Profiles Service) (EventID: 1505) (User: ACDCAS)
Description: Windows cannot load the user's profile but has logged you on with the default profile for the system.

 DETAIL - Access is denied.

That one is something you may want to pursue on your own.

About the Anti-Malware program itself:

As we go along, it is very important that you give all detail about how / when/ the detail on what did not work, and the "error message" as appropriate.

Now, I see by your log that the program had an abnormal termination / a "abend".

Please try this with me and follow my guidance.  dont do any "fixes" on your own.

Do a Windows Logoff >> Shutdown >> Restart

Next, ( but only if the program is running) lets shutdown the realtime Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Go to the desktop Taskbar. See the blue-color MBAM icon in the notification area.
Do a Right-click on it with your mouse, and select EXIT.

I have attached a zip file which you need to Save to your system.

Once saved, unzip it to extract all contents.   which will be 2 files.
Next, double-click on **net_replacement.bat** file.
It should run fairly quickly in a command-prompt window.

Once that is done, restart the Anti-Malware and let me know if it works normally.
