Malicious Website Protection blocks nearly all internet access

Recommended Posts

It does this with multiple browsers, torrents, prevents Windows Update from working, etc. A few sites like reddit and Facebook work but nearly everything else is blocked while it's enabled. I think that this started after I upgraded my router.

I'm on Windows 8.1 x64. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks SH. I've run into another issue after the cleaning process. The net.conf file that Malwarebytes is installing on my computer by default causes the program to crash when it checks for updates. I found another one that someone posted online that allows me to check for and install updates fine but the issue with my Internet being blocked persists.

I've attached the file that makes MB crash and the one that's working fine for me.

net.zip

Should I use the default net.conf when I run the scans or the working one?

Well the logs indicate the the computer is probably infected however it also shows that it is actively using software to steal and pirate Microsoft software.

So though I would love to assist you cleaning the system we cannot do so unless you're willing to uninstall all pirated and or cracked software from the computer.

This topic will now be closed due to evidence of cracked or pirated software on this system.
