Windows Safety Alert

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm having a problem with a program called Windows Safety Alert that is currently taking up about 17 GBs on my hard drive. My computer was infected by Spylocked a few weeks ago which was successfully removed by SmitFraudFix in Safe Mode, but this time not SmitFraudFix, AVG Anti-Spyware, nor RogueRemover are detecting it in Normal or Safe Mode, much less removing it. Windows Safety Alert was only registering under the "Add Or Remove Programs" folder in Control Panel, but when I tried to uninstall a message popped up saying it was already uninstalled, and then it disappeared from the list. I was going to try doing the Pre-Post instructions, but the link for 6m53znxr.zip is broken. Please help!

Welcome to Malwarebytes CBB. Have you used the most recent versions of RogueRemover Pro and SmitFraud? Both of these programs are updated all the time. Please update RogueRemover Pro and run a scan have it remove everything it finds, then let me know how it goes.
