Freezing when scanning the E drive

Recently whenever I run a full Malwarebytes scan in freezes when attempting to scan some files within the E drive. It won't let me cancel the scan and get logs, forcing me to close it manually. However, it remains in processes in my task manager and I cannot restart Malwarebytes as it's "already running", nor can I close the MBAM process as it pops up with an access denied error. I have a feeling I'm infected as I get occasion java update pop ups when browsing, and one of such pop ups actually began downloading a file that I was able to cancel and remove. Any help would be much appreciated!

Your welcome, just be patient as there is a back log there so it could take a few days before someone starts to help you, do not bump or reply to the topic as that will only prolong you getting help, only reply once someone is helping you.
