Malware Bytes not starting with Windows

I have a computer with the MoboGenie virus on it, but when I run a Malwarebytes scan, it can't detect or remove it.

 

Is there something I can do to get MalwareBytes to detect and remove MoboGenie?

I have MalwareBytes installed on a Windows 7 platform, but I have to manually launch it everytime I boot the computer, it won't start automatically like it should.

 

I went to the Advanced settings tab and made sure the check box was set to Start Malware bytes with Windows, and I also enabled the self protection settings. Still won't start.

 

I ran Avast and it found MoboGenie on this computer, which MalwareBytes did not detect when I ran a scan. Could MoboGenie have infected Malwarebytes?

 

Any idea what I need to do to get Malwarebytes to start like it should when I boot the machine?

FYI, I shut down my Comodo firewall, and rebooted, and now MalwareBytes starts up correctly, so I guess Comodo is blocking it from starting.

 

I still can't get it to detect the MoboGenie virus/malware though.

I have a PC with the MoboGenie virus/malware on it. Malwarebytes could not detect it for some reason. I removed most of it with Avast, but I'm not sure if I successfully got all traces of it off. Is there some way I can verify that it is clean?
