Lost Admin Group Rights After running Malwarebytes

Recommended Posts

Hello - I installed Malwarebytes free and ran it on a Win 7 machine that had not been started in a while.  At the point that it was ready to remove items IDed by the scan it crashed (it continues to crash at this point).  Running further scans shows the malware removed.  However, I cannot run any control panel apps even though my ID is a member of the administrator group.  Further, the administrator ID now has the same issue.  Everything was working yesterday as I uninstalled a number of programs.  Any idea how to restore the rights to the administrator group?
