However, I noticed as soon as the update was finished my malwarebytes icon vanished from my taskbar. I then tried to open Google Chrome, and received the following error message. The applicating has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect. Please see the applicationevent log for more detail.X Critical 5/30/2014 10:22PM Event ID 100 Boot performanceAdministration Event- Error- Source- sidebyside- Event ID- 33 I can open and use Bing but not anything related to Google Chrome.Also, when I registered to this forum I could not reply with my email, as I received the same message.I can receive email but cannot send. I used your alternative way to sign up.I thought about removing google and installing it again, but did not. I thought I would wait for a response from malware.
