Possible detection error?

I wondered if someone could check the attached Log, please?

The item reported only appears when I have chosen not to display "Computer" in my Start Menu...

Hi,

 

This is no false positive. PUM. means Potentially Unwanted Modification. In this case, as you said already, it's flagged when "computer" is not displayed in the startmenu. The reason why we detect this is because malware often makes that change / applies that policy as well, so since we cannot determine here whether it's set by the user or by malware, we detect as PUM.

So, in your case, if you indeed applied this policy yourself, you can ignore this detection and add to your exclusions.
