what happens to quarantined items when malware bytes in clean uninstalled?

i ran the clean uninstall following directions on this website as my malware bytes was not working. in my previous version there were some quarantined files.  after the clean unistall i looked in the quarnatine folder and there was nothing in it.  what happened to these files? were they deleted or unquarantined?

should i be concerned that quarantined files will now be allowed to run?

The files in question have been deleted.

 

In general, if a file/registry content has been quarantined for a week or more, and the system has suffered no ill effects, the quarantine contents should be deleted and you should have no further concerns.
