Malware Exclusions. ?

Recommended Posts

Hi.  I have just upgraded to version 2.0.2.1012 and was about to do a full scan when I noticed under Malware exclusions, two entries that I did not put there.  One entry appears to be just a duplicate of the first and they are both as follows;        File      C:\Users\weg\AppData\..K6.tmp\OCSetupHlp.dll

Should I be concerned about these or are they meant to be there ?    Thanks for any response,   weg.

Hi pondus, thanks for the info.   Whether or not the 2 entries were in an older version before upgrading,I can't be certain so I did a full scan, leaving the 2 entries in exclusions, and after the scan 1 entry had disappeared;I then just unchecked the remaining one,did a "threat scan" and the unwanted entries have disappeared up the Khyber. So I'll just keep my eye on the Malware exclusion section,as well as the other settings just in case.   I only use Windows for gaming as I "saw the light" years ago and moved to Linux but I have always recognized "Malwarebytes" and it's tools,as amongst the best applications, for it's purpose,on the net.   Thanks again,I appreciate your reply pondus,  Regards,  weg43.
