I'm new to this forum and this file keeps popping up on my Bitdefender as a potentially malicious application. I called WOW and

can't get any straight answers out of them. They keep saying "We can't do anything about it." They act like it's not theirs.

I haven't seen any recent posts on this. I do run a 64 bit operating system. Is this something to be concerned about?

It's irritationg getting constant warnings. When I search for this file in Windows, I'm not able to locate it. What should I do

First of all, SysWOW64 has nothing to do with WoW, which is why they are telling you what they are telling you.  It is a part of the internal file and directory structure that comes with owning a 64bit-based Windows operating system.


Since BitDefender is already reporting an issue with that file, I would suggest that you please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.

A malware analyst will guide you through the cleanup process.
