remove proxy server;https=

Recommended Posts

I had accidentally installed some unwanted programs while downloading a torrent software (including the dreadful v9.com virus (which i was so glad to get rid of using HitmanPro)). . i was able to get rid of all of them using Malwarebytes along with Hitman and Windows Defender, but I am still stuck with this dang proxy server which i cannot remove! I have already tried resetting my browser settings to default, manually turning off proxy servers in my network settings, and removing privoxy (which might have been attached to my utorrent download which i have gotten rid of as well). . please help! i have been reading many forum posts over the internet along with the support forums here on the site and still haven't found a cure! HitmanPro says it repairs the proxy problem but it keeps reoccuring and MBAM isn't detecting the problem possibly?

I am using Windows 8.1 as my operating system.

Looking forward to support and a solution..

Thank you so much!

another problem that i might ad is that this proxy server gives me constant connection problems to websites that i frequently use and gives me this message . .

This page contains the following errors:
error on line 63 at column 187: EntityRef: expecting ';'
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

the only solution that fixes this is turning off the proxy server in my network settings, but it automatically switches back within a minute!

Very sorry for the delay. We've simply been overrun with requests for help and have not been able to get to everyone requesting help in a timely manner.

Now that we're finally getting our head a bit above water again I've been going back to review old missed requests. If you do still need help please let me know.

Thank you
