MAM2 - Malware Exclusions ?

Recommended Posts

Having issues with MAM and AV software slowing the system down on a clients machine due mainly to real time scanning. We can adjust the corporate Anti-Virus software (SAV) NOT to scan in real time,  certain files and folder - can you do the same in MAM using the above ??

Is the above functionality for scanning only and/or real time scanning ??

If only scanning, we need the ability to exclude certain files and folder from RT scanning just like you can in SAV

ps> By the way we are a reseller of MAM, so will be advising ppl NOT to purchase or even use MAM2 until the product is properly tested and fit for purpose.

Hello and :welcome:

Yes Malwarebytes version 1.x and version 2.x both have the capability to exclude folders from real time scanning.

Version 2x has better capabilities and more options for exclusions. You can exclude a single file, or a folder. Version 2x also has better Web Exclusions as well, you can exclude an IP, a Domain, or even a process.

It should honor those settings in real time and during a scan if I am not mistaken.
