Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit scan stuck

I am running Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit and during the Scan System phase it has stopped scanning.  The Scan Progress says that it is scanning C:\WINDOWS\SYSWOW64\Wbem\xsl-mappings.xml.  However, it has not moved past this in more than an hour.  Now what should I do?  I am afraid to cancel this.

You may want to try the built-in version that comes with MBAM

Does that mean to cancel the Anti-Rootkit system scan?  The warning message is pretty scary about it perhaps rendering the PC unbeatable.

Oops, that should be unbootable.

You should be able to cancel the scan without an issue.  Once done I would restart the computer though before running the clean removal process as provided.
