Trouble Updating

Just joined this forum, this is my first post. I'm having a similar problem, and the problem just started today. Here's a screenshot of what's happening to me. Auto update quit working. Manual update doesn't work. It just keeps saying it cannot access the update server.


I'm going to try Firefox's suggestions - I'll post back here with the results.


I'm using Windows 8.1 64-bit, Firefox browser, Kaspersky Internet Security.

Welcome. :)
Issues that sound "the same" often are not.
Each computer is unique.
So is the solution for a problem.
It becomes very confusing and difficult for everyone when many users post in one forum thread.
So, if you would: please try the steps suggested by the OP in this topic, if you wish.

And please check to be sure your system date/time are correct and that your AV/firewall are not blocking MBAM.

If that doesn't resolve your issue, please do the following.

If step #1 and step #2 don't work, please follow the instructions in step #3 to collect the diagnostic logs.

However, please do NOT post them back here in this topic -- instead, please start a NEW, SEPARATE post with them.

That way, you can receive individualized help with less confusion for everyone.
