I recently bought a new computer it came with Windows Xp 64bit and Malwarebytes installed fine and under start up it looks like its set to load at startup and i do own the the paid version

but whenever i go start the protection putting the program in the system tray

i get the error in the picture

i realize x64 xp is a bit old but is Malwarebytes incompatible with it or something?

Angelus,

Unfortunately, MBAM's protection module is not currently supported on 64-bit versions of Windows yet. There is a beta in the works that will support 64-bit versions, but like I said, it's currently being tested. I do not know of a timeline for release as I'm sure the developers do not know of an exact date either. For more information, have a look at this thread: http://www.malwarebytes.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=10811

I hope this helps!

Keith
