databases out of date popup

Recommended Posts

Hello and :welcome:, serendila:

First, please check to be sure the time and date on your computer are correct.

Then, if this is a new installation or upgrade of MBAM, please reboot the computer once or twice.

If neither of those fixes the problem:

Thank You,

@ Frog

Welcome aboard.  It is amazing what the benefit is of doing a fresh boot before and after the install.   And in your example, the reminder on just a simple shutdown  and restart.

It reminds me of a need to publish a prominent reminder somewhere about the benefit of a general need for it on a regular basis.

As well as the need to do a fresh restart both Before a "upgrade" and After the finish    ( version upgrade).

@ Serendila:

Let us know how you are doing.

I am experiencing the same problem. The pop-up window notifies me that the database is out of date. Clicking on it does nothing, the window just pops back up. If I bring up the dashboard, and click "Fix Now", nothing happens. There are two workarounds. Reboot, or close the program and restart it. But the next time an update is available, it happens again. I have had the program for a couple years, and this started a month or two ago. I am runnning Windows 7.

Hello heath10 and :welcome:

We are disappointed to read your system is having issues. Each computer is unique. Problems that seem "the same" most often are not.

The same is true for solutions. They most often need to be individualized.

It is less confusing for everyone if we adhere to the "one user per topic" forum policy.

Please start a NEW, SEPARATE topic using this cjfj.png button.

Staffers, experts and helpers will be able to more easily provide both you, and the OP, with individualized assistance to get you both up and running.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. :)
