Need help eliminating PUM.Hijack.TaskManager and PUM.Hijack.ExpNoClose

Recommended Posts

Hello,

For the last week I've been dealing with some strange issues with my computer. The shutdown option was missing from my windows start bar and Malwarebytes would crash every time I tried to run it. So i uninstalled malwarebytes and used the MBAM cleaner to do a fresh install. I was able to get MBAM running and did a threat scan. It detected two malwares PUM.Hijack.ExpNoClose and PUM.Hijack.TaskManager and removed them. But I'd like to figure out if these things are permanently gone from my PC.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks.
