Unable to load root-kit driver

OK, so if you don't know if your hard drive is encrypted, it probably isn't. ;)
(The reason I asked is that is can be one cause of the error message you are getting...)

 

Please note, anti-rootkit (ARK) scanning is not necessarily required.

That's why it's disabled by default during installation of MBAM 2.0.

You could just disable it from the Advanced Settings and then reboot the computer.

That will probably resolve the error message.

 

If you want keep ARK enabled, then we'll need some additional troubleshooting:
