"Malwarebytes Anti-malware has stopped working"

Since I updated to Malwarebytes Anti-Malware I can't run a custom scan without getting his Windows error message:

"Malwarebytes Anti-malware has stopped working
A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"


Custom scan:

Scan memory objects

Scan Startup and Registry settings

Scan Archives

Scan for Rootkits

It's set to scan drives C and D.


The problem occur when scanning Filesystem Objects. It happens every time I scan. I never had any problems when I used Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.75. I have run mbam-clean- and reinstalled Anti-Malware That didn't solve the problem.


I have attached log files Log Set 1and Log Set 2.

I tried the clean removal but the problem was still there when Scan for Rootkits was enabled.

I have run several test scans with and without my antivirus program enabled and with and without Scan for Rootkits enabled. Disabling Scan for Rootkits and the problem was gone.

Then I made a clean install of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0.2 Public Beta. Running this version with Scan for Rootkits enabled was successful.
