Hey Malware Removers! Can't cancel threatscan WHY?

Hi Malwarebytes team!

Today I ran a threatscan and then after by mistake made it run once more and I wanted to cancel it, but and here is the issue: I can't cancel the scan!!!!!

 

Maybe you can explain to me why this is made this wrong way?

Okay, there was no error. My computer must have hanged or been hot, atleast when I got back to my desktop mbam had cancelled, it just took around 30 mins. But as I said the error was in my system not your product!

This is the Malwarebytes anti-exploit forum. It sounds like you are asking about Malwarebytes anti-malware instead.

 

FWIW, that is an issue that is being looked at currently, and is supposed to be addressed in a future build.

Depending on what process is going on yes it can be difficult to stop the scan.  Development is reviewing for a possible future fix.
