Scan completed message missing

Recommended Posts

Completion message no longer appears in the new Malwarebytes 2.0.1, per my experience...and per the Malwarebytes support person who emailed me.  Is this so?

To me, the Completion message is a valuable safety feature that tells you by sight that the scan has run and there are no threats (or there are threats).  Without that message on my laptop screen, it's up to me to open Malwarebytes and check to see if the scan ran.  What if I forget (as will be the case with my wife who has Malwarebytes on her computer, too).  I could go days without checking...long enough to get in trouble if malware strikes my system.

Is this true?  Is there any way to control whether or not the completion message appears automatically on the desktop, as it did in Pro?

If this feature was removed, I sincerely, urgently, request that the developers give serious consideration to bringing it back.  It is a most important SAFETY FEATURE!

Sincerely,

Hello and Welcome shocklin

First things first, this is a very old topic(you replied to an old topic), its usually frowned on to reply to old topics, you should have created your own topic that way your particular questions are answered and they do not get mixed with all other replies, and as such your topic was moved to its own topic..... Thanks for understanding.

That being said, and to answer your question, yes that feature is currently not available. Rest assured though, the team is working on releasing another version soon that will have some bug fixes and also eventually they do plan on incorporating a way to manipulate all sorts of notifications, including the one you mentioned in your post. There is no current release date yet of when these notifications features will be available.

EDIT: Added content to reflect topic being moved by Ron, Thanks Ron....
