v 2.00.0.1000 and database show as zeros

I have 5 lifetime licenses running on XP and 7 computers. On one 32 bit Win 7 Pro computer, when I hover the mouse over the MBAM icon, it shows

Program version 0.0.0.0

database version 0.0.0

When I open the program everything shows correctly. It is checking for updates then scanning with no problem.

 

The other four computers do not have this problem.

 

I like the fact that you added "Open Malwarebytes Anti-malware" to the right click menu. In the previous version, everytime I wanted to open the program, I had to go to the program listings to do it.

I just double clicked the icon in the system tray.

 

BTW, have you rebooted that machine that has the odd version number showing?

If a reboot does not solve your issue...

Lets try a clean install of Malwarebytes, Please follow the instructions located HERE using Method 1

It fixed itself. The computer had not been rebooted but it had been cold booted at least three times since it was installed last week.

I fired it up, hovered the mouse and the proper program version and database version now appear.
