Hello,

I have pro verison: 1.61.0.1400, that i bought a while back.

Every time I attempt to use Malwarebytes,

I keep getting a popup saying a new version has downloaded and is ready to install.

Question is: Can i use the new version with my older ID and key?

OOPS!

I think you intended to post in the section supporting MBAM, not MBAE??

Yes, your license ID and key should be fine for the new version.

Lifetime consumer licenses for 1.xx are being migrated to lifetime licenses for 2.00.

However, since you are running such an old version of the program, a clean upgrade would probably be best.

The steps are described in Method 1 here: MBAM Clean Removal Process

Please make sure you have your license ID/key handy before you start.

Then, follow all the steps carefully, including rebooting when asked.
