Stop warning me...

I prefer to keep Malicious Website Protection disabled. Is there an option for MBytes to stop warning me about it each time I boot up the PC? I see there is a Notifications option in General Settings. If I disable that option, what happens then when I execute a file that's malware? Will I still be warned at least in that regard?

Well, I answered part of my question. If I disable Notifications then I'm not notified of a threat(used test files)

 

In future Malwarebytes program update it would be nice to specifically disable notification when having Malicious Website Protection disabled per user choice. I know I have that particular protection disabled and I don't need to be notified of it when I boot up the PC or even when I open the main dashboard window.

Are you disabling MWP for a reason?  because the MWP can now not only have domain exclusions but also process exclusions - for folks that use BitTorrent a lot, this feature is a godsend.

Yes I'm disabling MWP for a reason and know about the exclusion option. Still don't want to be bothered with 'Fix Now' everytime I open up the dashboard or reboot. Usually AdBlock Plus for Firefox blocks what I need blocked without the help of MWP. To me MWP is an annoyance, even still now after I disabled it. Should be an option not to be nagged anymore about it.

Yes, you're not the first user to request this feature.  More than a couple have requested it.  Let's hope the devs are working this into the next build....
