Trouble with copy/paste of logs

Hi,

 

I'm trying to paste the logs requested by Mr.C so he can help me with my computer. I can copy the logs, but I can't paste them into the message here. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I can't ctrl V either.  Any ideas?

You could try just attaching them to the posts as .txt files, or .ZIP them up and attach them as .ZIPs - that actually keeps your thread rather readable, as some of those logs can get rather large.

When you attach a file to the post, there are two steps.  The first is to use the Choose your file then attach it to the post.

 

 

The second is to use the "Add to post" link to actually embed the attachment to the post itself.

 

 

The attachment will be added wherever your cursor happens to be in the reply window, so be sure to move the cursor to where you would like the files attached (typically, most people attach non image files at the very end of their post).

Thanks. I was just hitting buttons on here and I hit the BBCode Mode button and tried to paste and it let me. Yay! Thank you for your help!

Glad you got it worked out.  In the future, if you want to attach files (particularly images like screenshots) us the method above.
