Is there no way to choose the option of a quick scan or a full scan in the new version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free verson? The option did exist under the previous version.

The new scan names are a bit confusing, but this should help.

 

Threat scan == quick scan

Custom scan = partial or Full scan - depending upon what you choose to scan.

Hyper scan == Flash scan (only available for registered PRO users).

Actually we feel the new names reflect better as to what they do.  Some long time users though may find it different is all.

Just out of curiosity, if  "the new names are a bit confusing", why MBAM did not  change them in beta, not to be confusing?
