InstallBrain detected and fixed and now cannot reboot

Malwarebytes detected InstallBrain and after removing asked me to reboot.  My Acer tablet running Windows 8.1 (W510) was unable to reboot.  What should I do now?  Thanks.

Sorry you are having trouble rebooting after malware removal.

We can't work on this sort of problem here in this particular section of the forum.

 

So I suggest that you please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.

If the system is so crippled that you cannot follow the suggested steps in that pinned topic, then please just start a new post in the malware removal section anyway, explaining the situation.
A malware analyst will assist you with the issue.

Selected option number 7 from the boot options and was able to reboot to Windows.  Ran various other checks for installbrain and it appears to be gone.  Thanks for your help.
