I own two computer shops. I am a MBAM reseller, we install MBAM Pro on every customer computer.

I have seen 3 computers this week come in with multiple adware and MBAM Pro was completely uninstalled.

The customer did not uninstall MBAM.

Just want you to know rogue adware programs are able to uninstall MBAM Pro, and now they are doing it.

Also this adware stuff is getting more agressive.

PC Optimizer, Registry boost, conduit, highlightly, etc.

These are infecting by 15 to 25 programs per machine. It is embarasing that MBAM does not stop any of it installing. Not MBAM is being removed by it.

I will comment on this part, Unless you change the settings in MBAM manually (current default is not to detect in real time) to detect PUP's that junkware will get installed.

Thank you for the report Mike.  I believe the new 2.0 version will be able to help prevent this as it has self protection and PUP should be on by default.

If you've not already tested it out (I believe you have) give the 2.0 Release Candidate a spin and let us know of any issues.

Thanks again
