Malwarebytes not responding

I have been using Malwarebytes for sometime and have been happy with it


I ran it the other day and 431 PUP files and folders showed up, so as usual I clicked on them all proceeded to get rid of them


Sadly each time I have tried to do this now over the last 4 or 5 days Malwarebytes hangs up and I get a not repsonding message and allI can do is close the program down


Any help please

Hi Steve,


Unfortunately there are sometimes file or registry corruption issues that can cause the program to not respond.  Probably best if we look at seeing what is on there and if we can get it cleaned up with some other methods that might be able to deal with the corruption issue better.


I would suggest following the advice from the topic here Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers and having one of the Experts assist you with looking into your issue.
