Is the Left 4 Dead 2 problem ever going to be fixed?

I have seen 3 posts on this site ranging from 2 years ago to last month regarding the Left 4 Dead 2 false positive. I cannot get my voice chat to work in the game because MB keeps blocking everything. I have to turn it off to play the game. I have made all sorts of exceptions.

 

I made an exception at that IP address that is listed in the logs. I can see people's microphones moving showing that they are chatting but I can't hear anyone. I am assuming this is a problem in my Steam settings. I have my entire Steam folder in the exceptions and also the left4dead2.exe as well. Could this be affecting my VOIP in game or is that something else?

Update Malwarebytes to the latest database. Update your souncard drivers and try again.
