Virus Removal: Assistance Requested Please!

Good Day Malwarebytes Forum,

 

I am attempting to remove malware that malwarebytes has detected. However, I recieve the message,

 

"Uninstall not sucessful"

 

The Virus is, "Android/Trojan.SMSSend.cn"

File Infected: "/system/app/KeyguardBackupRestore.apk"

 

Model Number: "SGH-M919"

Android Version: 4.2.2

Baseband Version: M919UVUAMDL

 

I have, "Factory Data Rest" the device over 5 times without avial in removing the virus.

 

May I please request assistance.

My bosses phone also had the same problem this morning, it also says "Uninstall unsucessful"

Same thing for me as well. I can't uninstall. I hope this gets resolved soon.

Please help on this one. The issue did happen yesterday night and i have been unable to remove this by doing a factory reset.

I installed 360 Security (from Google store) and it found it and cleaned it

Thanks for being patience guys, this definition issue has been fixed with the latest definition update, so please be sure to update.

 

To update, got to Settings>Scheduled Updates>Force Update
