Can't download mwb

Same message over and over every time I try to download the free version of Malwareytes since

I bought the Pro version, but ended up with the trial version that expired.  Was unable to download

the Pro version, got a refund.  But now I cannot download the free version.  I have removed malwarebytes files from programs and features and the c drive trying to do a clean install. Didn't work.

This error 5 message always includes the path beginning with C:\Users\....and ends with Temp\is-13G7I.tmp, or 3EN12.tmp (each time after the word is the code is different.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello and

The Trial, Free and Pro versions are the same download version. Make makes them different is if you enter your ID and Key it becomes the Pro Version.

Try following the steps HERE for a clean removal process and re-install. Those instructions also provide a link of where to download the latest version of Malwarebytes. Make sure you are running these steps with an account that has administrator access.

If the problem persist let us know, and possibly provide a screen shot of the error message.
