Infected need help please

I just ran into this very problem this morning.  I routinely run AntiRoot Kit and then AntiMalware as a part of a weekly cleaning routine.  I ran the AntiRoot Kit (updated with no problems) first.  When that was done, I started AntiMalware.  When it asked if I wanted to update, I agreed, and got this exact message.  Tried it 3 times, no change.  Rebooted, no change.  I uninstalled AntiMalware thinking the program may have gotten corrupted, ran CCleaner to mop out the registry, then reinstalled it from the original setup.exe download.  It installed fine, but when I went to update it, I got the runtime error again.

 

I downloaded a fresh copy (free version) from this web site and did it all over again.  Still have the runtime error.

 

I came to this forum and found this discussion, so I followed the instructions.  Please find the three files (CheckResults.txt, dds.txt, and attach.txt) attached to this post.

 

Running nothing special, just an HP Pavilion laptop and Win7.

 

Please let me know if there is anything I can do before scouring back in the Restore Points for an iteration that does not have the error.  I'm interested to see what the problem may be.
