My VPN server 173.230.137.22 has been erroneously flagged as a "possible malicious website" and therefore client machines using MBAM Pro can no longer connect to the VPN.  (Yes, I filed a report in the False Positives forum.)

One one machine, however, I can't even add the VPN server to the Ignore list, because tooltips do not pop up - the logs show the IP address as being blocked, mind you, but no tooltips pop up, and without the tooltips, rightclick system tray icon -> add to Ignore is grayed out.

This is a mission critical failure for me.  It's bad enough that I'm having to manually ignore the IP address of a VPN server which isn't even SERVING any web content that isn't wrapped behind Apache auth, but not being ABLE to ignore it is causing me severe issues, up to and including not being able to monitor the servers with my Nagios instance - which depends on a VPN connection to reach the machines it monitors.

There REALLY needs to be a way to manually add IP addresses to the Ignore list without relying on tooltips.

Hi:

According to MysteryFCM in your other post: ;)

This will be unblocked on the next update.

Having said that, the feature you request has been mentioned quite a few times.

IIRC it is under consideration, but we'll have to wait for staff with an official status update.

They can also advise about details of running MBAM PRO on a VPN server.

Thanks,

I'm not running MBAM Pro on the VPN server, the VPN server is a Linux box sitting on the IP address which was blocked.  Windows clients running MBAM Pro need to be able to connect to the VPN Server, but cannot because of the block.

Can I get an estimate on when that next update will be released?  This is putting a SEVERE crimp in my week - like I said, there's a monitoring system running over the VPN tunnels which can't be made due to this FP.

OK, thanks for the clarification.

Alas, that's a question I cannot personally answer here in this section of the forum. :(

Only the staff who handle IP blocks deal with removing them and with updating the database.

Databases are typically updated a minimum of 10-12 times in 24 hours, often more.

If MysteryFCM said it would be taken care of in your other post, then I am sure it will be done as soon as possible.

Thanks very much for your patience,
