Bought CD Malwarebytes Premium, Activation Code no good

I had trial version, bought cd premium, it loaded once.  Activation code was no good, so I thought it was running my trial version instead of the disc.  So I removed all Malwarebytes and tried to run the disc again, and it will not boot.  Any suggestions?

Sorry you are having trouble loading MBAM PRO.

 

The retail products, software version and the licensing model are currently in a transition period.

(Version 1.xx -> Version 2.00 (which is still in BETA), "PRO" -> "Premium", and consumer lifetime licensing -> renewable subscription)

So, a few folks are having a bit of trouble installing/activating.

 

It might help to know the following:

• Are you having trouble activating because the "buttons" in the wizard don't work? If so, please see this recent topic: malwarebytes cd wont work
• Are you trying to install and activate version 1.75 or version 2.00 BETA?  The license keys for 1.xx will not work at this time with version 2.00 BETA.
  • They will eventually be converted to lifetime licenses for 2.00, but that is not yet supported.
  • If you are trying to install 2.00 BETA, you need to use the TEMPORARY license ID & key provided >>HERE<<.
• Are you getting an "invalid license" error message? If so, please see this KB topic: It says 'Invalid license information' when I try to activate the software.

 

Having said all that, you really don't need the CD to install the program.

 

Assuming you are trying to install the stable, public release version (1.75), just download the setup file from >>HERE<<.

Then use the license ID/key from the CD package (on the sleeve or a card in the box) to activate, as described here: How do I activate Malwarebytes Anti-Malware?
