Hello and :welcome: , Frizinkerq:

You might want to try a clean reinstall, using whichever method applies to your version (as you didn't mention if you are running Free or PRO): MBAM Clean Removal Process

If that doesn't work, please run the DDS scanner tool as described below and post back with BOTH logs ATTACHED to your next reply.

They will assist the staff/experts in sorting this out.

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks!

DDS Instructions

Download DDS from one of the locations below and save it to your Desktop:
dds.scr
dds.com

Temporarily disable any script blocker if your Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware has it.
How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus, Firewall And Anti-malware Programs

Once it is downloaded, you can disconnect from the Internet and disable your Ant-Virus temporarily if needed.
Then double click dds.scr or dds.com to run the tool.
Click the Run button if prompted with an Open File - Security Warning dialog box.
A black DOS console should open and run for a moment.

  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
    • DDS.txt
    • Attach.txt
  • Save both reports to your desktop
  • Please attach both of the following logs to your next reply: DDS.txt and Attach.txt
You can ignore the note about zipping the Attach.txt file in most cases.

Hello daledoc1:

Thanks for your prompt response!

I am running the free version. The clean reinstall with the MBAM Clean Removal Process did not work (the error window keeps popping up), so I ran the dds scan. Please find the logs attached.

By the way, is there any way of changing my user name? I would like to slightly change it from "Frizinkerq" to "Frizinker" (the q is a typo).

Thank you!

FriZin

Yes I see you have actually started two topics over in that section...

https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=141520#entry785540 Posted 01 February 2014 - 12:24 PM

https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=141624#entry786277 Posted Today, 07:14 AM (2/3/2014)

More than likely these two will be merged, please do not reply to those topics until someone takes your topic, also do not start any more new ones, this will only take ups valuable resources and only make it harder to clean up your system.

Please be patient and wait until someone picks up one of your topics.

Thanks for understanding....
