XP Probig problems after Malwarebytes scan removed conduit and other then rebooted

Recommended Posts

Trying to download Adaware update got Conduit by mistake.... naughty page with lots of confusing download buttons.

Ran Malwarebytes, it removed some conduit stuff then automatically rebooted. Boot crashed hung even in Safemode.

Used my XP SP3 CD to use recovery tools to fix boot etc. Removed CD.

Used fresh Kasperski .iso boot CD to run scan....

Still issues.

Used XP SP3 CD to do an Install Repair.

Better but still issues so used recover from last good. Alive again.

Of course it then got Updates and trying to shutdown install updates it wouldn't reboot.

Could boot to boot options and rebooted from last good point.

Would then shutdown(without installing updates) and reboot.

Tried uninstall Adaware... icons and adawareservice.exe still there!

Tried uninstall Malwarebytes ready to try fresh download.

Now starts up runs for a short while then BSoD 00000000F4 0000003  etc.

Can't remember all actions order and details...would still like to cleanup rather than full reinstall XP got a lot of important software which would be hard to recreate.

Very wary of registry cleaners.

Any trustworthy help much appreciated.
