camera will not boot on nexus 10 4.4.2 when malware bytes is installed

Recommended Posts

Hello stinthum,

My name is Fernando Gil and I will be assisting you today. Can you tell me if this issue is occurring during a Malwarebytes scan? Please try disabling RealTime Protection to see if the issue persists. Click on the settings menu in the top right corner of the app (identified by 3 dots). Click the settings option and uncheck the Real Time Protection box. Test the issue and let me know if it still persists.

Also what resource did you use to download Malwarebytes Mobile? Has your device been modified at all, or are you using the standard ROM? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

Once I hear back from you, I can report the issues to our development team for further investigation.

After removing malware bytes app from nexus 10, the camera still will not respond, so the malware-bytes must not be the cause. Sorry, but this problem wasn't noticed until after I installed the malware-bytes so I thought there must be a correlation.

Hello stinthum,

You want to backup your data and try restoring the device to factory specs or consult the manufacturer for assistance as this issue still occurs after removing our product.

Thank you for the update.
