If you scroll down a tiny bit on this page, you can see our updated product comparison chart:

http://www.malwarebytes.org/lp/lp4/?gclid=CMny-NLwi7wCFSUOOgodiT4AcA

Essentially, with the free version you can scan and update manually as much as you'd like, but the Pro version offers essential realtime protection for preventing malware from getting onto your computer in the first place.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions and I'll be happy to answer them.

Hi, nolacs22:

If @screen317 will kindly indulge my adding a bit to his expert advice...

It sounds as if you might be thinking about replacing Norton with MBAM PRO?

If that's the case, please note that MBAM PRO is NOT an anti-virus (AV) & is NOT a substitute for one: Does Malwarebytes Anti-Malware replace antivirus software?

So, even if you add MBAM PRO to your security set-up, you'll still need Norton or another strong, real-time AV, either free or paid.

MBAM PRO will run alongside your anti-virus to help prevent infection.

MBAM Free, as @screen317 mentioned, is only an on-demand scanner to remove infections already on the system.

Perhaps I missed them, but a couple of other features of MBAM PRO I didn't see listed on that particular, new web page include: 1) smaller, incremental database updates; and 2) the ability to schedule both automatic database updates and scans. ;)

Cheers,
