[SOLVED] MBAE disappears

Recommended Posts

W7 x 32 MBAE 0.09.5.0300

MBAE 0.09.5.0300 disappeared. There was no Windows event log entry. MBAE Default log shows an issue with Acrobat Reader, MBAE disappeared sometime after this. I think it happened after viewing the video on the page below in IE, but not sure. Default log attached. Note that Adobe Reader was updated to 11.0.06 yesterday.

MBAE restarted OK.

Strange.

I have 0.09.5.0250 here and am not aware there was a new version available.

It is an internal version for testing some of the problems reported by users with the .0250. We are very close to releasing the final 0.09.5.1000 so please be patient.

John, I see nothing wrong in the log. Are you sure it's not the disappearing traybar icon issue that's listed in the known issues list?:

Yes I am sure this is a different issue. I saw the icon disappear. I checked running processes in Task Manager - MBAE.EXE was not running. After checking system event logs I restarted MBAE and the icon immediately appeared.

Maybe MBAE crashed somewhere along the way. Is there an entry in the Windows Event Log for this crash? If so can you please post the info?

Yep, I found it (it happened a bit earlier than I thought). I included a memory leak event that occurred just before the MBAE crash, in case that is relevant.

Thanks, this is useful.

This is most likely fixed in the upcoming 0.10.X version.
