False Positive ?

Recommended Posts

Sorry Im total dummy on this one

Just did my full scan and it seems to have found something like Spyware.Passwords.XGen BUT I can't understand this as it seems its a file that belongs to NORTON.

Was this a falce detect or OK to remove ???

Well, I have removed it just to be on safe side.

Do I need to do anything more ??

IF it was a false positive do I need to restore the file back and how do I do that ???

Log details attached.

From the log, I really can't tell if this is a false positive or not. I need to have the file that was detected.

For this, I suggest that you restore the file back from quarantine and attach the detected file to your next post, so we can have a look.
