how to downlod

I bought malwarebytes about three months ago for two computers, and, installed on the first one, but, never installed on the second computer,and now I have forgotten how to do it. all I can get is free download or the shopping cart to buy again.. I have the id # and the key#. Please tell me how to get it installed on the second computer.. Thank you very much... lindak51

Hello and , liindak51:

 

Just checking: you have 2 separate licenses for the 2 computers, right?

(Currently, consumer licenses for home use are lifetime & transferable, but each license can be used on only 1 computer at a time.)

 

Make sure you have the 2nd license ID & key handy.

 

The Free and PRO versions are actually the same installer file -- you use the ID & key to activate the PRO features after installation.

 

You just need to download the Free version, save it to your desktop and run it.

Here is the link to download: http://downloads.malwarebytes.org/mbam-download.php (it will take you to one of several authorized mirror sites).

During the setup wizard (towards the end of the process) you can un-tick/clear the checkbox for the Free trial.

Once the program launches, there is an "ACTIVATE" button toward the lower left corner of the window.

Click that button.

You will then enter the license ID and key.

P.S. Another tip: if you have 2 computers and 2 MBAM PRO licenses, be sure to keep copies of both licenses somewhere safe, recording which license "belongs" to which computer, in case you ever have to reinstall or transfer the license.  It will prevent possible confusion later.
