New user help required

Firstly hello, I am new and just run Malwarebytes for the first time. I am a PC/Malwarebytes novice and want some help please, mainly to explain what a message meant and why it occured? Hope this is the right section to post.

It found 1 "threat" which I let it remove and subsequent scan is clear. It said:

Registry Data Items Infected:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\regfile\shell\open\command\ (Broken.OpenCommand) -> Bad: ("regedit.exe" "%1") Good: (regedit.exe "%1") -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.

Strange thing is there is nothing shown in the Quarantine section?

Can some kind soul give me a quick (easy!) explanation ? I have also run AV and system clear. A very big thanks.

All Malwarebytes' did was correct a slight syntax error in your registry for that value. It isn't actually an infection and Malwarebytes' didn't actually delete anything, just corrected it to what it should be by default so there was nothing to quarantine.

You're welcome. Basically that key in the registry was slightly incorrect, probably due to some third party software that changed it for whatever reason. MBAM's scan detected that it wasn't quite what it is supposed to be and changed it back. Hopefully that explains it a bit better .
