I downloaded the most recient version of anti-exploit to my desktop BEFORE I uninstalled the last version.  I run XP SP3.  Now the top left corner of the desktop background is white.  It still has program icons but there is this square of white under the icons.  I Changed the desktop to "old style" windows straight light blue but the white square remains.

How can I get the left corner back as it was before?

I went to control pannel uninstall. Anti-exploit was not there. I had icons in my startup folder and in my quick launch. When I looked at properties they both pointed to c:\program files\malwarebytes anti-exploit. When I seached for that foler it was not there. I then searched for the exe file and it was not found. So I guess it was already uninstalled. I uploaded a gif showing anti-exploit not in programs.

Any other suggestions to FIX my desktop.

PS

when my windows xp sp3 loads NOW the task manager loads before the desktop. Which NEVER happened before I installed Ant-Exploit. I just feel nervous Anti-Exploit has affected my OS and I will never be the same again

Wow! That is very strange indeed! What anti-virus do you use? Have you updated & run a full scan of your C:\ drive to rule out a malware infection? That might not be a bad idea! If malware isn't the problem have you tried using a Systyem Restore point before you installed Anti-Exploit? A couple of things you could look into.

Best wishes, Ritchie...
